To this I would add the following:
Use a "retired" toothbrush to scrub the solderside under the tap. Works
great, doesn't scratch anything, and leaves no residue. (I use them with
IPA as well, although I've been thinking lately that cleaning PC boards is a
terrible waste of India Pale Ale.)
