My best advice is be adaptable and open minded ..we had this discussion
about degrees a while back and how worthwhile they are...

In truth I actually don't own a degree from college per se I acquired that
later in life, but I do have a PhD in Japanese...I finagled my degree by
travelling and learning some exotic languages (Arabic, Pashtu, Dari Persian
and Japanese) in a time when my friends were coming out of Uni and working
behind bars for nearly a year before they could hold down any serious job
(not that working behind a bar is not a serious job). It  looks like the
present economic climate is going the same way ...

So imho I would say just go with the flow ... I did formalise my education
at a later date ...
