Interesting, thanks! The 16-bit A/D and D/A in the LPC2888 is probably audio-quality (I could not find exact specs in the datasheet) so less suited for CV. From what I see it has 10-bit A/D and no other D/A. And it is only available in 180 pin BGA, ouch... The STM32F I mentioned earlier does have 12-bit A/D and D/A suitable for CV and is available in various LQFP packages.
