wow this sounds interesting
one thing I am noticing quickly (as the projects I want to use these chips for require 2,4 or even 6 sound gens or cv gens from one chip) is that I am going to need to start learning to use 12bit D/A converters
(most of these chips seem to have multiple DIGITAL OUTS..which i assume you then use a D/a that is serial input?) i am used to D/A (8 bit) that take 8 inputs and spit out audio.
anyway, the more advice the better as i really am going to spend some money on this stuff....
the key here is the development system can cost money BUT eventually when I get something working, I'd prefer a platform where the chip itself is cheap and hopefully also available in DIP and SMT
thanks!!!
