Aye, I think I ranted enough for the whole community. 

I justified the aquisition to my roommates by pointing out that it's rare enough to find something like this on the side of the road and that I had gotten rid of a greater volume of junk than what I brought in from the organ. 

I do happen to have 4 SID chips and 4 AY-3-8910 chips lying around....
