Wow that looks awesome! I haven't done the glow in the dark one yet but
the stock looking one is just fabulous. I couldn't have imagined any
better quality. It's on a unit and ready to go.

I'm pretty sure the fading is really a result of the bad FOAM episode.
I got a case that has the foam out of it with that one. My other one
probably suffered similar problems. I talked to another tech who had one
with the same issue. These panels are just the right thickness to make
it so you don't rub the slider caps at the bottom. Any thicker and
there would be trouble there. The switch and trim cover popped right
in. I had to narrow it a hair though. (.02 or so on each end) because
the one I precisely measured (the one slated for a glow in the dark one)
is that much wider. Great. So ...what would you guys do? Have them
manufactured too wide and let people trime them as needed on a sander
(and potentially screw up the 100 or whatever dollar panel?) or pre cut
them and let there be a .020 gap on each side on some units? Who knows
they might even vary more than that since we've only tried it on a
couple here so far. -Bob
