[sdiy] Interesting Book

Graham,

I just received my copy of this book today. Overall I am pretty happy
with my purchase. I only glanced at some of it but there is some
real-world value there. Time will tell if there is real value there
or not (for me). It seems the author is big on real world solutions
and pretty light on the theoretical aspects.

Based on Graham's suggestion I made the purchase. Could the book have
been a bit better? I suppose. Do I feel I was ripped off? No, not
at all. If you are building a larger mixer, this book is a must have.
There is some great information there. I agree this is worth having
in one's arsenal. Its ultimate value depends entirely on what you
already know and where your interests lie. From first blush I would
rate it 4/5 stars. If I had a do-over I would still buy the book.
And I am a cheap son-of-a-bitch, so that says something positive about
the book.

Thanks Graham for your book pick! I appreciate learning about decent
sources of information and this one certainly appears to be
worthwhile.

Peace.
Tom Farrand
