When putting something into styrofoam I'd be worried most about self-
heating. I once put a small circuit into a little styrofoam box (in
an attempt to run it at a stable temperature) and ran it over night.
The next day it was about 5 degrees celsius warmer than the
environment. Of course it took many hours to reach that temperature.
Not a good idea to achieve a stable temperature, unless you have lots
of time...
