Perhaps you should have designed the circuit around the SSM2044 which are
plentiful and available for $5 in quantity.  The CEM3372 was used in
desirable synths like the Oberheim Xpander, Sequential Prophet 600 and T8,
Akai AX80, and Rhodes Chroma Polaris.  They are not low cost and not readily
available.

I was not going to rant about how @#$#ing irresponsible it is to design new
circuits around scarce chips that should be reserved for keeping vintage
synths alive, but I decided this was pretty @#$@ing irresponsible.
