[sdiy] creating fixed oscillators with PIC/dsp?

I am looking for a very simple platform for spitting out between 2, 4, 6, or 8 fixed tones at a time with a chip or two.
once the programming is done, i do not need any control over changing the frequencies (so i am not looking for vco's)
i need these tones to be accurate and figure that instead of making a bunch of analog oscillators which will have to be trimmed and shaped, it might be
easier to get a couple of cheap pic chips to do the work.
ideally i would like to be able to have each tone to go to its own analog out (d to a) and i am not sure if there are any pics or dsps that have 4 or 8 mono outs
basically i know nothing about what platforms are available and I am very interested!
thanks so much
