I can't think of a single SIMPLE sine wave generator,
at least at audio frequencies. I suppose a phase shift oscillator
would be about the best, but not easily voltage controlled.

That use of an incandescent to stabilise a wein bridge has
a problem - at low frequencies it doesn't have enough inertia.
