Hi Terry,
I know you know, but it bears reiterating..
It depends what sort of synth and sequencer it should be. If it is a
keyboard sequenced from something like Cubase, then midi will be ok,
but it will not be good for drums and sounds where you need good
timing. Of course MIDI won't do the '808 + sequencer' kind of sound.
