I'm thinkig about using a 4046-PLL to generate the high frequency for a
wavetable-module like this:

from a standard-VCO. Would the sync-time (settling time? don't know the
right word, the time, till f out is phaselocked with f in) of the PLL be
fast enough? Or would there be any ohter problems?
