[sdiy] trolls and unicorns

I try to avoid posting on these types of threads but if you think AH is a
troll fest you dont frequent the internet very often. It was part of my job
to consult with the community for my last game I worked on, AH (forget about
SDIY) is the height of good manners and camaraderie compared to the internet
as a whole. I have this printed on my wall at work:

Back to business, why are there so few PPL modules out there? A long time
ago I made a crazy module with a PPL at its heart, it was based on a harmony
circuit that was supposed to perform a backup when a person whistled a tune.
With some careful additions it turned into an amazing 'fattener' module for
synths, the tracking was awful and sounded like your drunk friend trying to
see what keys you were pressing....I always wondered why people dont use
PPLs more.
