please, i beg you... dont let it happen!

this list is a breath of fresh air compared with the petty bickering that goes on on AH, despite the authoritarian heavy handedness 
that seems to *always* be running just under the surface (sometimes i wonder if that in itself creates the atmosphere of tension 
that fuels the general feeling of unrest, but thats another debate)

remember, generally, when two people start talking at (rather than with) each other on an internet mailing list, they both end up 
looking like fools to evreyone else, so the only real people they are impressing are themselves.
