Yeah they're great when they work! If you cleaned w/baking soda
solution then it shouldn't have too many traces getting eaten in the
future I guess :-). Now since...all the analog data is going from the
CPU board with the S+H's to the analog board and is affecting all of the
*other* 5 voices from what I'm understanding..we can discount the
possibility that the problem would be anywhere but on the analog board.
Did you try swapping the vca to a different channel? The SSM2024? If
no effect there then I've seen resistors go open and a variety of things
but I'd have to get out the diagram to start making guesses.
