It could be built either way. The main thing is to choose a switch and that
will NEVER find consensus on this list...
A Lever front toggle would be the closest match. The purpose of the little brother
is performance, flipping switches as you play (imho)

If it is designed to accept PCB mounts, does that preclude one from
building it with panel-mounted controls?
