Please do carry on your sterling efforts.  The web has brought down  
the cost and efforts of sharing and preserving knowledge.  Circuits  
with obsolete components have great value - they teach us about  
earlier techniques, they help those in need of repair, they provide  
historical context and materials.

Sadly they don't tell us _why_ certain design decisions were made -  
only the original designers can do that.  But at least with the  
circuits we can infer much.
