Me personally? No, I don't care for it. But if someone else digs it,  
more power to them.

There was a thread on this on AH about a month or so ago, started by  
Paul Schreiber, posting about these "chiptune" and "bent circuit" sort  
of things, and wonder if he should do that. The answer is no - Paul  
should keep doing Paul's thing, you should keep doing your thing, and  
the chiptune sort of folks should keep doing their thing.

The general conclusions is everyone should make what is true to them.
