Ah - the AY-3-891x chips were fun in their day. Back in 1980 or so I had
one hooked up to an OSI Superboard (6502, 4K SRAM, 8K Basic) and had an
interesting seashore ambience running - foghorns, bells, seagulls and
surf. Good times.

But of course these days you could fit all that and more into a $5 MCU
with room to spare...
