[sdiy] beginner with gate problem ?

So can we guess that the VCO out goes through the VCA to your
amp/headphones
And that the gate signal is directly controlling the VCA via its CV
input?
Is the VCA an RS180? If so, the initial level control should let you set
an initial volume for the VCA, this can be modulated by either a
unipolar or bipolar control signal, the gate signal should achieve this
regardless of format - even if it's backwards, louder with NO key
pressed!

Subject: [sdiy] beginner with gate problem ?
Hey guys,
Just started out using my analogue systems rack with 3 modules at the
moment. (VCO, LFO, VCA)
I use a pro solo MKII as a midi to CV and as a midi keyboard an akai
mpk49 but the GATE OFF doesn't seem to be working...
If I hit a note and release it, the sound stays put.
It changes pitch when I change notes of course.
Any idea's what to take in the pro solo mk2 in setting 16 (Gate Type
Select ) ? Tried them all, but still have the same problem.
thx for helping me out :-)
Benjamin
