[sdiy] beginner with gate problem ?

Hey guys,

Just started out using my analogue systems rack with 3 modules at the 
moment. (VCO, LFO, VCA)

I use a pro solo MKII as a midi to CV and as a midi keyboard an akai 
mpk49 but the GATE OFF doesn't seem to be working...
If I hit a note and release it, the sound stays put.
It changes pitch when I change notes of course.

Any idea's what to take in the pro solo mk2 in setting 16 (Gate Type 
Select ) ? Tried them all, but still have the same problem.
