[sdiy] USB/MIDI ground isolation?

Hi!

And Analog Devices just added a new product for isolating USB-Interfaces with a new device of the i-coupler family - the ADuM4160.

A possible solution what could be done without this new chip was by isolating the interface "before" the USB interface (in this appnote the SPI interface)

But this might not be suitable for time critical MIDI applications. But if you only need patch dumps and so on it will be OK.
