I played around with the delay times while developing the Sound of Shadows
delay module (almost done).
The range of the PT2399 is around 30ms-600ms. According to PTC, sinking too
much current from pin 6 (the clock rate pin) will destroy the chip, hence
the 0.5 minimum resistance (judging by the preceding values on the table, it
looks like they mean 0.5Ω). I haven't shorted the pin directly to ground,
but I have tried a 2N3904 with no series limiting resistor and got around
30ms IIRC.
