[sdiy] First PCB....

A few years ago, I spent quite a few months of work designing a board
in expressPCB. What I never really thought about was the problem of
getting boards made at other places, and I really wish someone would
have steered me politely away from expressPCB before I spent all that
time on it.
Anyways, I picked up KiCad last year, and I'm a pretty big fan of it!
But yeah, there are a lot of options and people can argue all day over
which one is best. None of that really matters, but all i'm saying is
don't forget that expressPCB has you tied into one manufacturer and
the time spent learning their software could be spent learning
software that is a lot more flexible.
Your board looks okay.. personally, I like doing all my traces at 90
and 45 degree angles, but I guess that doesn't matter at all
considering how many legendary products have been made with boards
that look completely different! Keep at it, it's a fun hobby!
