Exactly!

Its a bit like with the stock market...
With such a panic, the only thing that's going to happen is the prices 
are going up, because everyone is all of a sudden buying hundreds of 
them. So current "demand" can't be met. Of course everyone sees this as 
the signal that there must be some kind of shortage, and has to buy 
now... So better buy now... :-P 3,2,1 go!

We've seen this before. BBDs, OTAs... The sad thing is that I guess 90% 
of these hoarded devices will just sit in a bag somewhere rusting or 
collecting dust.
