Stupid regulatons indeed! Thanks for the chemical heads-up, Ian!

As a circuit bender, almost anything I build will be labelled illegal. So it
is time to stock up LDR's for a lifetime.

But perhaps there will be a marketing boon as my orchestra will be a
"gangsta"-act, using all kinds of controlled substances on stage ;-)

PS. A ban on GaAs? That would be funny. Then we only need to remove those
poisonous mercury-based low energy-bulbs, and we would soon have to go back
to using kerosene lamps ;-)
