Sigmoid waves, of course!

But seriously, I like at least one of the waves to be sine.  I find that,
say, two saws can get a bit ugly.  I like bells, chimes, marimba, steel
drum, vibes, etc, and these sorts of sounds are best evoked (in my
experience) when at least one wave is a sine.
