Howdy,
Well, I guess a person could sit down and draw out a clocked system that would count a certain interval of pre-conditioned pulses, compare it with a reference frequency, figure out a way to decode the difference and throw it up on a display, and Bob's your uncle. I'm too lazy. I just use my photo tach. and an LED.
Speaking of lazy, does anyone know where to get a thorough tutorial,(preferably book) of Garage Band? I've got Imac for dummies, and it doesn't cover much. Being the lazy, low IQ, waste of space that I am, I would like to have a few more "hints" and procedures in my head, instead of aimlessly poking around on the display, trying to get it to play with my USB/MIDI converter and all the AU things I downloaded.
Also, How to get S-VHS video into the Imac, then I'll be whining for hints about Imovie. Cheers, and thanx.
