[sdiy] Farnell buys CadSoft (Eagle)

i used the free version in the past, and it has been sufficient for most 
of my projects. i bought the standard version recently to have 4 layers 
and the full euro card size. compared to ableton or cubase (of which i own 
full versions) i see no big difference to those, regarding capabilities of 
free vs. standard versions. i mean, what can you do with a free version of 
ableton live and what do you ahve to pay for a full version? i see realy 
no big difference to eagle here.

and i don't want to think of the funds i paid for ableton and cubase, 
which i use for my hobby. it's my hobby and it has been worth it in my 
eyes.
