Nice work.

The keyboard in the Siel Opera6 has a 4-to-16 decoder on the key  
contacts board itself, so my little scanner board drives that and  
scans banks of 8 keys at a time.  And it also handles the pitchbend  
and modulation wheels, and expression and sustain pedal inputs.  By  
not using MIDI (this is for internal connection only) I don't need  
the opto-isolator or output driver - the three SPI signals are all I  
need.

I've just put up the schematic and PCB overlay on my website if you  
want to compare.

The new logic board is going to be fun...
