[sdiy] EFM MIDI-Gate?

i have some EFM documentation available at my site. however i have no old 
notes/forums threads about the MIDI gate. the only thing i got aware of 
was the mixed up schematic/parts list in the 3500 series documentation... 
does not apply to the 1900 series MIDI gate though.
