one of the reasons is that the cmos cookbook only goes so far at actually showing a complete system in use

and obviously when you look at an entire schematic full of chips, sometimes you can see a use for a chip you never understood before.


this isnt meant as an anti uprocessor thread or tangent. more of a looking at ways ttl and cmos can be used tangent.
