The Vero pens under discussion are a bit different from traditional
wire-wrapping tools, such as used to be used in computers, etcetera.
Whilst traditional wire-wrap was a production method, I belive that the
Vero wiring system was only ever meant as a prototyping system. It also
uses soldered joints as opposed to having a tool that strips insulation
and then wraps the bared wire round the pin.
Used to have a Vero wiring pen but it looks like it didn't come with me
on my intercontinental move. (As I discovered a few weeks ago when I
needed it.)
