Actually, Dave was asking about a NON-inverting op amp. The expo
converter summer (the one used on the Sound Lab VCOs for example) is
an inverting summer. I actually read Dave Kendall's message wrong at
first and also thought he was talking about an inverting circuit. I'm
of the same opinion as Dave though. I'm pretty sure you can't get a
gain of less than one in a non-inverting config., this being one of
the reasons why the inverter/summer is so common.
