Pretty much!!!

There's one thing I'm not clear about; are you driving the quantizer  
with an LFO or a VCO? Either way, let's call it the oscillator. You  
want the oscillator into one channel of the scope (with the  
triggering from that channel) and the quantizer output into the other  
channel. Then you can compare and contrast to your heart's content!

Probably a VCO is easier for testing on a scope than an LFO, since  
you'll be able to display a whole wavecycle without the image  
flickering (which tends to be a problem with slow waveforms).
