well good news!!!
i think i figured something VERY important out
to get a nice quantizing sound with steps in between the notes, i think you do NOT want a clock as HIGH as i am using for audio
that was my issue. i was always using either too HIGH a clock or TOO low,. with too high a clock, the CV came out very similar to the way it went in. with a 103 cap instead of a 102 i am getting NICE stairs of notes
