[sdiy] Coating aluminum

I used varathane on my hardwood floors when I refinished them, and on my synth cabinet. (mixed w/ dye on my synth cabinet)
I couldn't be happier w/ it! On my floor, I have aquariums, and it holds up very well to the constant spills.

Never thought about using it on my panels. (I haven't seen it in spray either. I'll have to look for it next time I'm at the hardware store)

Thanks, guys, for all the hot tips. I like the Varathane Polyurethane idea
because it comes in a spray can. I'm not sure I care particularly about
yellowing. As long as it still looks like metal and one can still read the
graphics, I don't really see the downside.

I'm just wondering, can I apply the polyurethane over the Krylon Matte
Finish I've already put on, or will I have to start over, reapply the
graphics, etc, etc?
