Just an aside:

I tried to make that point with some surveyors who came around to
measure our office. They were using a laser system to measure it.

I asked them "Is it accurate?"

"It measures to 6 decimal places" was the reply.

So I stuck my arms out (in a fisherman's "I caught a fish <this> big"
kind of way), and said, "Well, that's 1.2587535 metres, but it doesn't
mean it's accurate".

I don't think they understood even then.
