[sdiy] diy 150 in 1? (using springs for solder free prototyping)

Have ypu looled at those ED-LABs that use banana plugs? It has all the
different components behind the front panel and everything is open to
patching. I was thinking of doing something similar with a bunch of
ICs and interface my ED-Lab with it. That would make it completely
baby safe. No small parts and only banana plugs for the rugrat to
grab.
Im single with no kids but I think a prototyping board would be good
next to me while reading electronotes.
