This wasn't a tuning issue.  This was a "Unit can't hit the same voltage 10
out of 10 times", even if it flaps by 1bit error, thats quite noticable when
you are doing FM-like noises esp when thats 1bit out of 256...

Not that I remember.  Generally the PAIA units have been pretty good.

Heck, even the Trevor Page based EFM midi/cv isn't *bad*, there are just
times where Good Enough just isn't.
