[sdiy] Lacquer finish/second thoughts

I was looking into this last year. The basic rule of thumb: Oil-based clear
coatings will eventually (if not immediately) yellow, water-based do not. Of
course, this does not hold for all formulae, so you have to look up the data
sheet for the relevant product.
