Mm, good to know Veronica.
I was perusing the Microchip Technologies site earlier on the note of PICs, and if I'm to go that direction (probably will), in lieu of learning how the technology works I ought be able to find the proper device for my needs.
I don't need to expand much more on the original 101's abilities though, unless anyone has some suggestions?
What I had in mind was a standalone, performance oriented synth (that unlike an SH-101, won't set me back $700 or so).
