[sdiy] makeshift 3v zener?

I think I have some 3V ones in stock. If you are using it in a regulator
of course, you can always add series diodes from say a 3.9V source (ie.
that zener with a resistor in series to provide enough current for
supply needed to drive the regulating transistor or op amp or whatever)
to the base of the transistor etc. And just series enough of them to get
the voltage where you want it there. This of course will have some
current dependency and won't be real precise. -Bob
