I made one, quite a while ago, for a large one off build of Analogue
Systems, Analogue Solutions and Doepfer mix. I used Veroboard
(stripboard) to make my board up. The power busses on those modular
systems lend themselves well to stripboard since both use 0.1" pin spacing.
I didn't go the full star ground and power but arranged the headers in
groups of four. All the noisy LFO stuff was on one, and the VCOs were on
another and so on. In each group the power and ground were starred back
to the power supply. Starring the ground only is not always sufficient.
I also put in a wodge of 2u2, 25V elect. caps as power supply decoupling.
It all worked very well and much better than the crosstalking thing that
came to me.
