Yeah, I had considered tactile switches, but was looking for an easier 
way to panel mount that didn't involve mounting a PCB or piece of 
stripboard behind the panel.  But I guess I might end up doing just that 
if necessary to get the 'perfect' push button.  A lot of tactile switch 
caps do seem to be square, but since I'm likely going to get the panel 
made professionally this shouldn't be a problem.
