It’s almost Spring, and Servo is clearing out some stuff. I’ve got so
many projects going, that I’m going to get rid of stuff that I don’t
use or don’t have space for or time to fix. ALL OF THESE ITEMS NEED
TLC, BUT I’VE PRICED THEM CHEAP, SO SHOP ACCORDINGLY.

Roland U-20 rompler. $75 + shipping. The sound engine and panel
controls work great, but the keyboard on this one is kaput! I revived
it years ago with conductive ink on the keypads, but it’s all hinkey
again. Most likely, the keypad strips need to be replaced. Works great
via MIDI in. I really like the sounds on this one. The piano, strings
and organs are great. I also like the various choir and bass sounds
(the fretless is kinda neat). I’m also including a Pipe Organ /
Harpsichord expansion card.
Ensoniq ESQ-1. $75 + shipping. You either love these or hate them. I
liked it before the internal battery lost power and refuses to let me
reset the thing. ;-) Obviously needs a new internal battery, and I
just don’t have the time for this now. Also has one dead octave on the
keyboard, probably a bad diode in the key matrix. Both of these things
should be relatively easy fixes.
Roland VS-1680 Hard Disk Recorder. $65 + shipping. A good mixer and a
very nice sounding system. I also have the manuals for this one. NEEDS
A NEW ‘STOP’ KEY. This is another piece I like, but I just don’t use.
If anybody local (San Mateo, CA) wants to swing by and grab any or all
of these, I’ll knock $10 off each item.
I await the flood of interested emails ;-)
