Good question.
How precise will the "0V" from the LM3900 be, when the "0V" of the summing 
node in the receiving end is slightly positive due to offset voltage? Then 
the 3900's output must sink (not source), if ever so slightly.
It probably will work, but then again it might not. I couldn't tell without 
trying!

Since pitch CV is usually from 0 volts up (no negative being needed) i was 
wondering if i could us an lm3900 or a cmos buffer powered off of 12v  to 
distribute CV voltages to a few vcos.

rays cv distributor needs + and - voltages which i would like to get around 
if possible.
