Old Town Music in Portland is guitar centric but synth friendly and
has a lot of boutique and homebrew equipment.
Also, there is the unusual Buzz-R-Electronics in Portland which
carries one of a kind items, circuit bent stuff and things like
Jessica Rylan's "Little Boy Blue" synthesizer.
