BatchPCB / Gold Phoenix quality is not excellent, just OK. I've seen  
registration issues between pads & solder mask on some boards of up to  
5mil. I've had traces shorted to surrounding ground plane with defects  
that weren't in the gerbers. At this point I do quick continuity &  
short checks on all power supplies before starting to solder.
